Art has influenced my life nearly every day, initially being a hobby, it has transformed into a way of life for me. I've worked in clay and jewelry as well as design tools making stickers and still enjoy these mediums, but my first love remains drawing and painting. My artwork has enabled me to portray some of the people and places around me in a positive way. I find myself trying to push colors more and more as I continue in my work. I believe this is a way for me to express my vision of the positive possibilities of humans interacting with each other and the world we live in.

The work on this site is just an example of the various pieces I've worked on in the past few years. Many of these are projects from school or classes that I have taken in the community. Most of the “painting with paper” examples and plein air artwork are me trying to explore color relationships and expand my comfort level with pastels, oil paints and mixed media.
